Naval Engineering Services Limited (NESL) was established on the 20th of December 2012 to provide necessary marine engineering and logistics support to the Nigerian Navy and extend these services to the maritime industry as a major driver of technological growth to boost the nation’s economy. NESL has been duly registered at the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja, and has since early 2013 commenced full business operations. NESL maintains its corporate headquarters on the 10th Floor of the Defence Headquarters Building at 1-3 Moloney Street, Lagos Island, Lagos. The Company leverages on the depth and broad skill range of the Navy’s technical human capacity as well as strategic partnerships with local and foreign firms to provide high quality and effective engineering solutions to its customers. NESL can therefore benchmark its credibility on its enduring naval heritage, dynamism of its workforce and capacity of its strategic partnerships.

NESL was initially established to provide engineering and logistics services to the Nigerian Navy and extend this expertise to other customers as source of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR). The strategic focus of the company has however transformed to enable it position itself as an innovative and robust engineering outfit that meets the emerging and future technical challenges of the Nigerian and Africa maritime industry while maintaining a global outlook.
In line with our strategic focus, NESL has been restructured to operate with strategic partners within and outside the nation. These partnerships allow for NESL to carry out a variety of business activities ranging from manufacture of engineering products such as Paints, Lubricants, Batteries and Fabricated steel parts to provisions of logistics and technical services.
